Elyandra Widharta
Born in Yogyakarta in 1982, lives and works in Yogyakarta. Elyandra was graduated from Theatre departement at the Indonesian Institute of Arts Yogyakarta in 2007. Elyandra’ s performances are expressing his responses to the social situation by focusing on its tradition, gestures and locality.
He has participated in various performance art festivals such as Majujaya Chaos Dab (2007); Perfurbance#2 (2005) and perfurbance #4 (2008). Since 2000, Elyandra has been active in traditional and contemporary theatre groups, and since 2002 he has been a member of Komunitas Segogurih (Javanese Theatre Group) in Yogyakarta.
