COMMON GROUND STORIES : where do our stories meet?
Saturday, 20 April 2024
14:00 – 16:00
di Studio Plesungan
(Desa Plesungan rt03 rw02, Plesungan Gondangrejo, Karanganyar 57181)

This session is a collaborative search for a personal story. Demi invites participants to explore their personal stories together, as well as those of others. Demi is interested in delving deeper into how to turn a personal story into an artistic product, what resources can be used, and how it can be approached.
Demi Kleinmeulman graduated from the Artist Educator program at ArtEZ University in 2022 and has been working as a theater maker, theater teacher, performer, and moderator for several years. During her studies, the theme of “identity” came up several times and proved to be an important driver of her art-making. This prompted her to delve deeper into her Dutch-Indonesian diasporic family in the past.
