RONALDO RUIZ studied fine arts at the University of the East, Philippines. He was awarded by the CulturalCenter of the Philippines as one of the ThirteenArtist Awardees of 2003 in recognition of hissignificant contribution to the expanding language and evolutionary dynamics of the Philippine ContemporaryArt. Ruiz was also an artist in residence at Artspace, Sydney Australia in 1999 and did 12 solo exhibitions,
several group exhibitions and performances in thePhilippines and abroad, including the 1st NaganoInternational Video Art Festival, Japan,Tupada Xing,Singapore 2006, Drawing Room Art Fair, Singapore and Thailand 2006, Korea-Philippines Fine Art Festival,
