Yuan Mor’O Ocampo
Yuan Mor’O Ocampo is a Performance Artist and a Cultural Caregiver.
He had his art trainings at the College of Fine Arts,
University of the Philippines – Diliman, Quezon City
and at Art Institute of Indonesia in Yogyakarta, Central Java, Indonesia.
He is also an Art Fellow at the Charles Darwin University, Northern Territory, Australia.
At present, Mor’O is an Executive Council Member
of the Visual Arts Committee of the National Commission of Culture and the Arts.Most recently, he won the 1st Prize at the Mixed Media Category of the 61st Art Association of the Philippines’
Annual Painting Competition and was given the Bodjie Dy Award for Culture and the Arts as the “Most Outstanding Visual Artist in Isabela, Philippines for the year 2009.
Yuan Mor’O is the curator of Balay na Santiago
the only living museum in Region 2, Philippines.
